Cookie Policy

What cookies SkinCap uses and why. We keep it minimal: no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

This Cookie Policy explains how SkinCap.gg uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember information between requests, such as whether you are signed in or which language you prefer.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication / session cookie (skincap.session_token, set by Better Auth) that keeps you signed in. The Service cannot function without it.

Preference

  • A language cookie (skincap-lang) that remembers your chosen interface language.

3. Analytics without cookies

We measure aggregate usage with Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not set cookies or track you across sites. Because we use only strictly necessary and preference cookies (and no advertising or tracking cookies), no cookie consent banner is required.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.

5. Contact

For any question about our use of cookies, contact us at [email protected].
